What is Deer-Off?
DEER-OFF is an All-Natural, EPA-approved, cost-effective deer repellent. It is environment-friendly, biodegradable and does not contain any harmful chemicals. All the active ingredients are food products approved by the FDA. Deer-Off will not harm the deer. But it does protect the plants and helps stop deer predation on your property. How does Deer-Off work?
The DEER-OFF solution produces an odor and taste factor-a dual deterrent that is offensive to animals but mild enough not to bother humans. This highly effective food-based product deters deer from browsing on valuable ornamental plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. It can be used on fruits and vegetables safely without any affect to humans. Because deer do not like DEER-OFF's scent and taste they choose to browse elsewhere.
When do I use Deer-Off?
Spray DEER-OFF on all flowers, plants, shrubs and trees for protection against deer at least once a season. Four seasons, four treatments... because deer eat all year long. Spring: Spray on plants and flowers. Summer: Spray on flowers and new growth. Fall: Spray on shrubs and autumn flowers. Winter: Spray to protect evergreens, shrubs and trees.
How much Deer-Off should I use?
The NEW 16 oz. ready-to-use spray bottle treats approximately 25 flowers and ornamental shrubs 4 ft. high (approx. 250 sq. ft.) and the 32 oz. ready-to-use spray treats approximately 50 flowers and ornamental shrubs 4 ft. high. The 32 oz. easily-mixed concentrate yields 2 gallons (8 qts.) and treats 400 flowers and ornamental shrubs 4 ft. high (approximately 4,000 sq. ft.) The 128 oz. easily-mixed concentrate yields 8 gallons (32 qts.).
How often should I spray Deer-Off?
One thorough application lasts up to three months (always spray new growth); rain or snow will not wash it off. DEER-OFF will not change the color or texture of plants and will not leave any white film or residue on the leaves.
